Since early 2021, the cost of living in the UK has been going up. This is mainly an effect of Russia recently invading Ukraine, which indirectly brought a rise in energy prices.

With the rising cost of living, it is speculated that the UK might be heading into a recession. With the significant rise in gas and energy prices, there is a possibility of domestic bills increasing even further.
