While feeling a little nervous is normal, excessive anxiety can often be deep-rooted in other issues. For example, you may be afraid of being judged, which causes you to experience intense anxiety. Similarly, a fear of failure, lack of confidence in your abilities or pressure to perform can trigger an anxious response. 

Besides that, you may also have to deal with the fear of control. You do not know what you will be asked and you do not have control over someone else’s behaviour. For many people, not having control over a situation can also lead to anxiety and additional stress.

Once you have identified the cause, we will then explore ways to rebuild your perspective and resolve the issue. Due to a lack of self-confidence, you may have then started to blame yourself for the interviewer’s behaviour, which is what now causes you to panic during interviews.
