Are you feeling paralysed by your OCD? You are not alone. The intrusive thoughts and obsessive behaviours can be debilitating and cause a lot of distress.

You might feel stuck in cycles of checking, counting, repeating, or mentally reviewing things over and over, just to feel a moment of relief. But that relief rarely lasts, and the thoughts often come back stronger.

Many clients describe feeling exhausted by their own minds, aware that the thoughts aren’t rational, but still feeling the need to act on them. It can feel like you’re battling yourself all day, and that even the smallest tasks take up too much energy.

Hypnotherapy for OCD helps calm the part of the brain that’s fuelling the anxious loop. Rather than fixating on the specific thoughts or compulsions, we’ll work together to help your brain feel safer and less reactive. Over time, this can reduce the urge to act on compulsions and help you feel more relaxed and in control.
