Hello, I’m Susannah. I am a fully qualified clinical hypnotherapist and coach with over 22 years of experience helping people overcome fears and phobias.
Phobias can feel intense and irrational – even when you know you’re safe, your body still reacts as if you’re in danger. Whether it’s a fear of flying, needles, driving, dogs, heights or something else, phobias often trigger a strong physical and emotional response that can feel hard to control.
Many clients describe avoiding certain places, people, or situations in order to keep the fear at bay, even when it interferes with their daily life. The fear itself becomes the focus, and it can start to impact how you make decisions and live your life.
Your brain is wired to keep you safe so if it perceives a threat or danger, real or not, it will override you. Hypnotherapy helps calm the part of your brain that’s stuck in survival mode. Rather than forcing you to face the fear, we work gently at the subconscious level to retrain your brain’s response so that you naturally feel more calm, relaxed and in control.
